Hyderabad, June 3 (NSS): Shekinah Foundation, which has been working for the cause of disabled persons, invited applications from the physically disabled and cerebral palsied children, both boys and girls, aged from six to 14 years for admission into its “Shekinah Residential School for Disabled” for 2011-12 from all districts in the State.
In a pressnote here, the Foundation president, Mr Ch. Ishakar, has stated that the selected students would be provided education, food and accommodation free of cost. The students will be provided education from Class I to X in English and Telugu media. Necessary surgical corrections will also be done for the needy children and post-operative care such as physiotherapy treatment will be provided by the Foundation, he added.
He also stated that based on the personal interest of each individual child, training in vocational skills, music and drawing will be imparted.
Interested students can contact the principal along with three photographs showing disability and copy of medical certificate before June 30.
