Hyderabad, June 5 (NSS): The TDP chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has strongly condemned the arrest of the Yoga guru Ramdev Baba, who was fasting in New Delhi, protesting against the growing corruption and black money menace in the country.
Talking to the media here on Sunday, Mr Naidu charged the UPA government with indulging in crushing the agitations of people, who were striving for the wellbeing of the people and the nation. He also demanded that the Union government explain the need for imposing prohibitory orders under Section 144 Cr PC at the fast camp of the Baba.
FIGHT AGAINST BLACK MONEY: SANDIP PANDEY
Vijayawada: Meanwhile, the renowned social activist, Mr Sandip Pandey, has said that the revolt against black money should come from the common man, instead of the middle class people. He said the black money stashed away in foreign countries should be brought back to the country and used for the welfare of the people. However, he observed that the way chosen by Baba Ramdev to fight against black money was not proper. (NSS)
