Anushka dismisses roumers about affairs with Naga Chaitanya

Top heroine Anushka Shetty has dismissed roumers that she was engaged secretly to younger hero Naga Chaitanya.

In an interview to Times of India, she said there were hardly any secrets in her life. “Tehse link-us, roumers and nasty reports are all just baseless. I basically don’t react to such stories, because there is no element of truth in them. The people who matter know me. And that’s all it counts” she told the interviewer.

There was always buzz linking the beautiful star to some one or the other, all the time. She was first linked to Nagarjuna (father of Naga Chaitanya). Then a series of link ups followed – with Gopi Chand, Director Krish and other. The actress has been maintaining stoic silence to all these roumers.

In the interview to ToI, Anushka was all praise for Vikram with whom she acted in ‘Naanna.’ “It is wonderful how he gets into the skin of the character. He is a fabulous actor. Working with him was a great learning experience for me,” she said about the film and the hero. She said the best compliment for the lawyer role she played in the film ‘Nanna’ was from her father who saw it inBangalore. She said he sent an SMS saying that this was her best performance.

No Bollywood plans

Anushka has said that she had no Bolywood plans for the present. She confirmed that she was approached for the Hindi remake of her Tamil film ‘Singham.’ She said she couldn’t accept that offer as they asked for bulk dates and she was committed to ‘Nanna.’ She also denied that she has accepted the periodical film ‘Rampachodavaram,’ based a freedom fighter. She said she only has heard the story and had not signed.
