Hyderabad, July 26 (NSS): The Union Minister of State for Railways, Mr Muniyappa, had embarrassing moments waiting an hour in the Secretariat for arrival of the Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy.
Mr Muniyappa came to the Secretariat to attend a high-level meeting convened by the Chief Minister on new railway lines in the State. Though the meeting was scheduled to begin at 11 am in the C-block, the Chief Minister did not arrive in the Secretariat as mentioned in his schedule. There was no one to receive the Union minister, who landed at the C-block exactly at 11 am. However, the Revenue Minister, Mr N Raghuveera Reddy, took Mr Muniyappa to his chamber in the J-block where the latter waited for an hour for the arrival of the Chief Minister.
At 12 noon, the Chief Minister arrived one hour late as per his schedule. When informed about the arrival of the Chief Minister, the Union Minister returned to C-block to attend the meeting. (NSS)
