BITTER EXPERIENCE FOR CHUKKA AND ERRABELLI

Hyderabad, Aug.3 (NSS): Educationist and MLC Mr. Chukka Ramaiah and TDP Telangana Forum convener Mr. Errabelli Dayakara Rao had bitter experience when they went to Indira Park to extend their support to the fasting Telangana teachers today.

Teachers have interrupted the speech of Ramaiah and demanded that he spell out the stand of the United Teachers Front (UTF), the organisation  from which he was elected to the Legislative Council. . They said he owed an explanation as he was elected to the Council from the UTF, affiliated to the CPI (M). It may be mentioned that the CPI (M) was opposed to Telangana. Stating that he belonged to no association, Ramaiah has abruptly left the place.

When Errabelli visited the camp, teachers stopped him. Protesting against the ‘two eye’ theory of the TDP, they raised  slogans of  “Errabelli Go Back,” showing him their footwear. The fasting teachers were not convinced when Mr. Errabelli said that he came there only at their invitation. He had also to turn back abruptly.

Telangana Praja Front president Mr. Gaddar and JAC convener Prof Kodandaram have visited the camp and extended their support.

SERVICES TO OPPONENTS OF TELANGANA WILL BE CUT: KODANDARAM

Addressing the fasting teachers, Prof. Kodandaram has warned that all services to those opposed to Telangana would be cut. He has alleged that Seemandhra leaders were scheming to bring rift among the Telangana protagonists. He has appealed to the teachers to play a key role in the General Strike proposed for the cause of Telangana state. He has also called upon the people to come on to the roads and join the movement.  (NSS)
