Hyderabad, Aug.22 (NSS): The Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, on Monday discussed with his cabinet colleagues about the strategy how to foil the efforts of the Congress MLAs loyal to the YSR Congress Party chief and Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, to destabilize the government.
The Chief Minister held a meeting with his colleagues — the Deputy Chief Minister, Mr C. Damodar Raja Narsimha, and senior Ministers, Mr Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, Mr N Raghuveera Reddy, Mr Dharmana Prasada Rao, Mr D. Sridhar Babu, Mr M. Mukesh Goud and Mr Maheedhar Reddy — in the Camp Office and discussed about the recent developments. The former Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Mr Suresh Reddy, was also present.
According to informed sources, most of the ministers felt that the government should tell the people that the Congress party was behind the CBI probe into Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s assets and the premier investigative agency took up the probe at the direction of the High Court. They also decided to give wide publicity that there was no danger to the government with the resignations of the Jagan group legislators.
The meeting also reportedly discussed about the steps to be taken to repulse the allegations made by the Jagan group MLAs, who quit their seats on Monday. It was also decided to keenly watch the strategy of the Jagan group MLAs and repulse them effectively.
The Chief Minister suggested that the in-charge ministers of the districts should take the responsibility that the parties MLAs are not lured by Mr Jagan. (NSS)
