MORE MLAs WILL DESERT CONGRESS SOON: MEKAPATI

Hyderabad, Sept.2 (NSS): The YSR Congress Party leader and MP from Nellore district, Mr Mekapati
Rajamohan Reddy, on Friday asserted that the number of legislators and MPs, who owed allegiance to
his party chief and Kadapa MP, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, would increase further in the near future.
He also said that those who defected to Mr Jagan’s party would not go away under any circumstances.
Speaking to mediapersons here, Mr Rajamohan Reddy said that he cannot guess how many
more legislators would join the YSR Congress Party at the moment. But the strength of the party would
go up further, he added. Stating that the people in the State would not tolerate if any person spoke ill of
late Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, Mr Mekapati said that the people were keenly observing the utterances
of the PCC president, Mr Botcha Satyanarayana. He also declared that the goal of the Jagan party was
to bury the ruling Congress party in the State.
Alleging that the Congress leaders have instigated the Central Bureau of Investigation to inquire
into the assets of Mr Jagan Mohan as they were not able to oppose him politically, Mr Mekapati said
the conspiracies and strategies of the ruling party would not succeed. He also claimed that many
legislators were not coming out as the Congress has three more years to rule the State.
Meanwhile, a blood donation camp was organized in the YSR Congress Party headquarters on
Friday on the occasion of the second death anniversary of late YSR. The camp was started by Mr
Mekapati, the Allagadda MLA, Ms Shobha Nagi Reddy and Mr Konathala Ramakrishna. (NSS)
